Valuing a Vehicle using a VIN
1. Tap your choice of guidebook tab.
2. Entering a VIN:
  a. Scan the VIN, if using a VIN scanner OR
  b. Tap the "Enter VIN" button on the bottom left of the screen.
  i. Enter the VIN using the keypad on the screen or on the device.
  ii. Once the first ten characters have been entered, the "Find" and the "Evaluate" buttons will be highlighted.
3. Tap "Evaluate" to continue to the Mileage screen or the Bodystyle/Trim screen will appear if the VIN did not decode it. OR Tap "Find" to view the Make, Year, Model, and Bodystyle/Trim.
4. Once the VIN is verified, tap "Get Value" to continue.
5. Enter the Mileage using brackets or actual depending upon the preferences.
6. Select which equipment options, if any, to apply to the vehicle.
7. View the value.
8. Tap an additional guidebook tab (if applicable) to begin generating a new guide value.
9. Select which options to apply to the vehicle (the VIN and mileage have already been transferred).
10. View the value.

Valuing a Vehicle without using a VIN
1. Tap your choice of guidebook tab.
2. Tap the "Year", "Make", "Model", and "Bodystyle/Trim" buttons to select appropriate choice from the lists.
3. Once the specific vehicle is selected, tap the "Get Value" button
4. Enter the Mileage.
5. Select which equipment options, if any, to apply to the vehicle.
6. View the value.
7. Tap an additional guidebook tab (if applicable) and repeat the same steps as above, on the next tab if no VIN is entered.

Windows Mobile
Valuing a Vehicle using a VIN
1. Tap your choice of guidebook tab.

  b. Tap the "Menu" button in the bottom left corner.
  c. Select "Enter VIN"
  i. Enter the VIN using the keypad on the screen or on the device.
  ii. Once the first ten characters have been entered, you may tap the "Find" button in the bottom left hand corner.
3. Tap "Find" to return to see the Make, Year, Model, Bodystyle/Trim or the Bodystyle/Trim screen will appear if the VIN did not decode it.
4. Once the VIN is verified, tap "Get Value" to continue.
5. Enter the Mileage using brackets or actual depending upon the preferences.
6. Select which equipment options, if any, to apply to the vehicle.
